I recently participated in a stationery swap organised by Lisa from Sprouting Creative Wings and now that my goodies have been sent and received, I can show them off to you!
I had so much fun putting together the goodies for my swap partner Lisa from Sew Little Pretties. Lisa does a lot of book reviews on her blog so right away I wanted to make her a book mark. I saw these cute pompom bookmarks on pinterest and couldn’t resist making one. I did a bit of macrame on the tail to pretty it up a bit more than just having the strings hanging.
Now onto the items I bought. This notebook was so pretty it was hard to give it away. The pages have gold edges. I remember when I was a kid I thought that books with gold edges were so fancy! I recently ran out of ‘stick to the fridge’ shopping lists and I never realised how much I loved them. They are so handy! And of course, you can’t go wrong with some cute washi tape and a pen!
Finally, I made a little pouch to put everything in. I sent Lisa a big list of words and asked her to pick her two favourites…they were geometric and bright! This fabric in my stash jumped right out! The fabric is Grand Bazaar by Patty Young for Michael Miller.
All wrapped up and ready to post!
Lastly, here’s a peek at what Lisa sent to me. I love all of it! She picked great colours for me. I love the writing set and it was perfect timing to get it as my old one only has one envelope in it. I love the colour of the felt tip pens and you all know I’m a huge fan of post it notes!
This is the second swap I’ve participated in and it was a lot of fun. Have you participated in any swaps lately?

Aww I love all the gifts both given and received! I love pretty stationery and I’m trying harder to sit down and write letters again. Snail mail is under rated.

It’s all so fabulous! I wish I could have lovely stationery but the kids get in to it!

yes, Roman’s eyes lit up when he saw the pens! I hid it all in my bedside table.
