This post is brought to you by Oliving by Hans. I have received product and payment for this post however, all thoughts and views expressed in this post are entirely my own honest opinions.
When it comes to lunch, I usually leave deli meats for a ‘once every now and then’ treat. I’ve always thought of them as a bit unhealthy, so I usually stick to avocado or tuna to avoid the saturated fats. When I was contacted by Marmot Inc. to learn more about the new product Oliving by Hans, I was geniunely excited. Oliving by Hans replaces some of the saturated fat in smallgoods with Olive Oil, making those tasty deli meats a much healthier choice than they traditionally are. The best part is, they still taste just as delicious! They have a huge range which is available at Coles, Woolworths and IGA. You can get it in the fridge section and also freshly cut at the deli.
The launch was hosted at The Green Olive in Red Hill, a gorgeous winery, olive grove and restaurant. Bridget Davis, The Internet Chef, took us through all the products, cooking up some wonderful treats for us all to try. Take a look at this video to see what we got up to on the day.
We were all given a goodie bag full of the Oliving by Hans range to try and I’ll be showing you a delicious recipe later next week using some of the great product.
Now for the exciting bit…Oliving by Hans have given me 4 x $30 Coles Myer vouchers to giveaway to some lucky readers. You can use these to by some of the products from Coles and taste the difference for yourself!
To enter, use the Rafflecopter form below and leave a comment telling me your favourite dish using smallgoods. Giveaway is open to Australian residents only and closes on 23rd October 2014.

I love my go to recipe for bbq’s with friends. I make little mini savoury muffins with shredded ham and any other goodies I have hiding in my fridge and pantry. They turn out different, but delish everytime!

Not really a dish, but for a lazy summer dinner we love a antipasto plate, with some nice deli meats, dips, veggies, olives and cheeses. Yum, so great for a picnic

We love making salami and zucchini pasta, very quick and easy. A ‘throw whatever else you have in the fridge’ recipe too. Will have to try these products out, they sound yum.

I make my own mini quiches with various cold meats – ham, chicken, turkey etc and also put in semi-dried tomatoes, artichokes, feta – it’s very easy to make a batch of lots of different flavours in one go. I do the same with “sausage rolls” using similar ingredients. Very keen to try these new products!

I have always had the same thoughts as you, that they must not be too healthy, so I will have to try this new one soon – my boys love cold meats 🙂

My whole family loves the dish we call antipasto pasta. Its basically just an easy throw together dish of pasta with pesto and whatever yummy small goods and leftovers we have left in the fridge. My fave is thinly sliced salami and ham, with fetta, olives, roasted capsicum and marinated artichokes. Its great for using up bits and pieces after a get together and takes practically no time to make.

Home made pizzas are the best, with lots of salami! Or sometimes I buy a hunk of brie and some salami, not in the slightest bit healthy, but a rather delicious snack.

A favourite in our family are chicken paddies (with chicken mince, grated carrots, herbs, sweet chilli sauce etc) wrapped in yummy bacon or prosciutto. We all come back for seconds!

We love muffin mini pizzas for a quick and easy lunch Oran omelette. The idea of healthier cold meats appeals to me so much because I don’t buy them often for this very reason.
